Sleep king

I have owned about every sleep monitoring device made. I own a sleep tracker. I owned a zeo. I owned an Up. I even had a pulse oximeter. Then I got a Beddit. Without question this is the most useful and the best design of all. It measures all of those metrics I consider important in understanding my sleep. They are displayed in an easily understood format. Best of all, the device installs between the mattress and my sheets making it very easy to use. To make this experience even better I had a problem with my unit and the customer service I received was incredibly courteous understanding and unbelievably prompt this is one of the best companies with which I have ever dealt. The Beddit product shows their expertise in design and implementation.

Works perfectly

Paired with the Beddit sleep monitor, the app works great. Easy to use, clear, and tracks my sleep.

Not working after update to 1.11

I am not able to connect my phone to Beddit after the latest update. It was working fine before the update. I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, restarting the phone, removing the previous connection from Bluetooth but nothing makes it connect again. What gives?

After months of issues...I am giving Beddit a rest.

I loved the idea of Beddit. 1) Place the strip on the bed and get quality results by crawling into bed and shutting my eyes. Unfortunately that isnt how it works. The user needs to connect to the bluetooth device every night. Then the user needs to either manually open the app or wait for it to ask permission to use the bluetooth connection and then the user needs to tell the app to start tracking sleep. That is a lot of hassle, but would be worth it if the results were better. Once again, this is where Beddit falls short. Beddit routinely tells me it takes 1+ hours to fall asleep when I know I am out in seconds. The wake/sleep info seems off base because there are times I wake, roll over and note the time on my wall clock only to wake up the next morning to see my stirring wasnt even reflected as activity. I really want to love this device but frequent app updates fail to fix these issues. Maybe it is because I sleep with 1 other person and two dogs. Maybe it is because the technology is flawed. Maybe...maybe...maybe. Bottomline....would I buy from Beddit again....maybe, but not as an early adopter. Would I recommend Beddit to a friend...no.

Bedsit is great

I have used Beddit for two weeks and Im more than happy with it. I have found it to be reliable and accurate. Just love it. Get more info than I expected. I use it with iPhone 6.

New version going in the right direction

Automatically syncing with my device is a Great improvement. Hope the developers Keep improving as they go. Would give it 4.5 stars, but that wasnt an option. All that said, Beddit has improved the quality And my awareness of my sleep patterns.

Not quite yet

The new smart beta feature has the Bluetooth finding my phone when the phone is downstairs and my bed is upstairs. I have a pretty large home so this wasnt expected. I think Ill have to turn that feature off

Very helpful info

The info from this technology is so helpful! I was able to look at how sleep (and patterns) helped me improve fitness performance and have an improved level of focus during the day... and also helpful info when traveling. Easy to understand, fast connection. Liking it so far!

Used to work well.

Since the upgraded app, the alarm hasnt gone off 5 out of six days. Not sure why.

Some improvements, some not-so-much

The app overall is nicer-looking, but I think the charts are less valuable than the previous version. Theyre way too small, hard to interpret, and show time in 24 hour format (which might be great for Europeans, but I not so great for Americans. Cant you just read localization data from the device?) I would like to see a return to larger format visualizations. Many other apps do this very well, but Beddits UI got worse in this regard.

Needs vibrating alarm

Upgrading my sensor solved connection problems. Now I just wish it had an alarm that vibrates; I sleep with earplugs in so it can be hard to hear the tones.

Alarm doesnt go off after update

Turn both volume and ringer up yet its gone off only once the last week. Update killed this app.

Amazing

Its amazing to be able to find out so much about my sleep every single morning.

Great application

Beddit is all about tracking your sleep and it does this superbly. In theory, I like to track lots of things but tracking is only really helpful if your consistent and to be consistent you need a way to make it easy. Beddit does this with their UI and new smart technology. Further more, their customer service is top notch, when I had a problem setting things up, they were responsive and very helpful especially given that my problem had nothing to do with Beddit but with my iPhone. They quickly got me up and running. I highly recommend this app and this company.

Not sure why Beddit isnt getting good reviews

Everyone is saying that this app isnt efficient, but im not sure what they were expecting. An app isnt going to cure your insomnia. Go to a professional if its that bad. I think that Beddit is very informative and Ive learned a lot about my sleep habits from it. For example, when I went to bed at 4 am I would snore on and off throughout the night. I tried going to bed earlier and saw that i dont snore anymore. Its little things like these that help you improve your sleep routine. This is SOFTWARE. Its not going to cure you. It gives you many helpful tips on sleeping and I can honestly say I look forward to my results in the morning.

You have to buy a monitor

I was shocked to find out after I opened the app that I have to spend over a $100.00 on a monitor for it to work. Total deal breaker!

Microphone access REQUIRED

I dont have a snoring problem, and I dont want this app listening to everything that happens in my bedroom. If microphone access is made OPTIONAL, I will gladly re-evaluate this app. For now, Ive wasted hundreds of dollars on hardware that wants to spy on my bedroom activities, and wont let me listen to music or connect to a Bluetooth speaker.

Connects to sensor, still needs work

Beddit has been the most impactful smart device in my life. Sleep, and more especially quality of sleep, makes a difference in all aspects of my life. Beddit helps me track and improve my sleep over time. Its awesome! Get the sensor, download the app, understand your sleep!!

TERRIBLE

it enables Apple Watch but doesnt let you connect to it. I bought this to put on my new Apple Watch and it doesnt connect to sensor and says you have to buy this rip off thing

Everything I want

Update didnt know you Gota buy there product just to track the sleep thats lame , they got the skill so should have other options to do it threw the Apple Watch and phone with the same features / so much potential theres no apps that do this with the apple watch yet or at least good Ill pay for a good sleep tracker that uses Apple Watch and phone with features like this app
