After months of issues...I am giving Beddit a rest.
I loved the idea of Beddit.
1) Place the strip on the bed and get quality results by crawling into bed and shutting my eyes. Unfortunately that isnt how it works. The user needs to connect to the bluetooth device every night. Then the user needs to either manually open the app or wait for it to ask permission to use the bluetooth connection and then the user needs to tell the app to start tracking sleep. That is a lot of hassle, but would be worth it if the results were better.
Once again, this is where Beddit falls short. Beddit routinely tells me it takes 1+ hours to fall asleep when I know I am out in seconds. The wake/sleep info seems off base because there are times I wake, roll over and note the time on my wall clock only to wake up the next morning to see my stirring wasnt even reflected as activity.
I really want to love this device but frequent app updates fail to fix these issues. Maybe it is because I sleep with 1 other person and two dogs. Maybe it is because the technology is flawed. Maybe...maybe...maybe. Bottomline....would I buy from Beddit again....maybe, but not as an early adopter. Would I recommend Beddit to a friend...no.
