Unable to connect since upgrading

Dont download this new version. It is impossible to connect to the bedit device once upgrading. BROKEN VERSION

Slow slow slow!

Who makes a white coloured sleep app that takes 40 seconds to load?

Waste of time

App crashes at midnight, cannot record whole night of sleep. Even if it not crash, still only record segments of sleep. Will return unit.

Best tools

I have been using Beddit for a while now and it is a great tool. I share my results with my doctor and it helps regulate my meds.

Wont pair

Beddit first gen connects ok in bluetooth on my iPhone 6s, but not in this app. An hour later, still no progress after many power cycles, app and phone reboots, reinstalls.

Update Lags

Every time you guys update the app, it takes longer and longer to actually connect to my beddit device. My phone is directly on top of it, only a thin sheet separates them, and it wont detect it for several minutes. Moving it around doesnt help and neither does unplugging it and plugging it back in. Very inconvenient when trying to go to bed at a certain time.

Crashes constantly

Beddit and speaker volume

During using Beddit, iPhones speaker volume is affected. It becomes very lower than a half. Is it a specification? And if you prepare on/off button, it would be easier to use.

Aggregated data?

I switched to beddit from sleep cycle. Not sure if the measurements are more accurate but the app is certainly less useful. What Id like to see is not just individual observations, but rather data presented as trend lines over weeks, months, years.

Crash!!!

Congrats! App doesnt working after update. Crashes at start. iPhone 6+

Ok

When the headphones are plugged in the alarm sound plays through them, not the speaker. Please fix.

Good

Nice thing to have at home. The only minus - if you shift to the side it wont measure your sleep.

Great product!

Update: Beddit provided great support and fixed my device. Working perfectly! Sleep awareness is helping to improve my health. Thank you! //Worked great until IOS update. I was very impressed with this product. It has improved my sleep and health immensely! Too bad it now keeps turning itself off. Just updated my IOS, please help.

Great app and sensor combo!

Beddit and their sensor (also called Beddit) are a great tool to measure and track your sleep. Im really glad I bought the sensor, its helped me understand and improve my sleep.

Great concept needs improvement

This device is the most accurate and convenient sleep measure devices I have used It doesnt stay attached to the bed well and isnt quite long enough The smart version will connect but then not disconnected when you get up so you end up with that red bar at the top of your phone

Very Helpful

I bought a Beddit for my husband because I worried about his sleep. He is a busy doctor with late nights, stressful situations, and interrupted sleep from phone calls. After reading that sleep deprivation is our nations new epidemic (akin to obesity), and seeing the research on the importance of good sleep to our overall health, I wanted the Beddit to provide my husband with his own personal data on the adequacy and efficiency of his sleep. Its like having your own sleep study night after night. After watching his results for a few weeks, I decided I wanted one, too. Turns out that between the two of us, Im generally the poorer sleeper. It makes sense now why some days my brain feels in a fog and some days it feels so alert. I see my sleep depth cycle and my perception of exercise effort change. I watch my ability to stay asleep or to sleep deeply, seeing often that it correlates with my nutrition that day (I use a different app to track nutrition). I notice that if I stay up late and miss my sleep window (Im not a night owl), I dont have a good night. I especially like watching my heart rate over time, indicating when my exercise is getting intense and it is time for some recovery days. Mostly it is just interesting to read the data each morning on the Beddit and decide what I need to do throughout the coming day to have a good nights sleep. My first two nights with it, I really didnt sleep well. I was worried about the numbers and was trying not to move. Night number three I was so tired I just didnt care anymore, and I slept fine. From that night on, I havent given it a second thought (after opening the app and tapping the sleep button, then tapping on my phone again when Im awake), and it hasnt been an issue in my sleep since. I havent had any trouble at all with the app crashing. My data seems to be pretty accurate, although it has missed noting some short "away from bed" times in the night for the bathroom. I enjoy reading the daily tips on sleep. I think the biggest benefit to both myself and my husband is that we are reminded daily the importance of taking sleep seriously, and know when we need to adjust sleep habits, particularly after several nights of poor sleep. Certainly you dont need an app to tell you in the morning if you feel refreshed or not, but the data is interesting and it is helpful to see patterns and the role stress, nutrition and hormones play in sleep, and it is nice to know that an alert mind can be regained with careful attention to sleep (I was pretty sure after having my 4 kids that theyd divided my brain amongst them and I was only left with a shadow of it. I realize a lot of that is sleep deprivation). Happy dreams.

Doesnt read wake ups at night.

I wake up in the middle of the night at least once every night and it only catches maybe 1 out of 10 times. Even worse with the new update.

I didnt realize...

How much I rolled around while sleeping. Its pretty accurate. Even told me when I was snoring and for how long. I like having it because it made me realize how much I was moving around and what my snoring patterns are like. Going to keep using it and trying to follow the tips that it gives me.

I can finally sleep through the night again!

After years of tossing and turning, I can finally sleep through the night again. In just a few weeks of using Beddit, I identified my sleep problems and have worked on solving them. The system is simple and easy to use (nothing to wear too!) and highly effective. Definitely recommended for anyone who struggles with sleep!
